Saffier are renowned for building just the sort of boats sailors have been looking for. All Saffier Yachts are designed and built by people who know exactly what they’re doing and with a huge sailing pedigree.
Simply the best in Day Sailers
Depending on the model chosen, a Saffier is perfect for daysailing, weekending or coastal cruising. Every model has been designed to sail well and to look good. A Saffier is also an impressive sea-boat and one that could make a great little club racer for a small crew. In short, they are the antithesis of the archetypal, high-volume modern cruising yacht. Any Saffier Yacht is a joy to sail and to admire.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder
A Saffier Yacht is a modern build daysailer of beautiful lines with classical influence. Underwater the modern hull has low displacement and this combination with a state of the art rig provide striking performance while looking graceful on the water.
Slice through the waves
With a narrow entry bow a Saffier Yacht cuts easily through waves without losing speed. Considerable thought has been given to the line of the hull from the modern bow to the classic stern. Under 10 % heel a Saffier Yacht uses their full water line length sailing up wind and perform above her polarities.
Easy to sail single handed
A Saffier can easily be sailed by one person. The helmsman has the tiller, mainsheet and the sheet of the self tacking jib at their fingertips. 2 winches to hoist the mainsails and unfurl the jib are readily accessible. The furling system of the jib runs under deck and all lines stow neatly in the sides of the cockpit ensuring a rope free cockpit floor. All lines run under the coachroof or deck. A gennaker can be set on a gennaker pole. For the more performance orientated sailors an (optional) light genoa (non self tacking) and spinnaker can be set.
