Since its inception in 1822 the Regatta continues to be a major attraction and this year was no exception. Tens of thousands of visitors, including flotillas of motor and sailing yachts attended the regatta and enjoyed the 50+ separate attractions from the 19th to the 27th August. Yacht racing in Start Bay was a big draw with over 250 yachts ranging from older classics to high performance yachts racing across 8 classes including White Sail, Gaffer Event and IRC 1,2,3,4 & 5.
