Additional Information
The vessel is of barge style, similar in appearance to a traditional continental river boat and is constructed from butt-welded plate steel onto longitudinal and transverse internal frames.
The craft is designed and built as a vessel capable of making way under her own power. As such, the engine compartment was fitted with engine frames and a stern tube for the propeller shaft. This barge would make an excellent liveaboard, perfect for cruising the inland waterways of the UK and Europe and capable of making the associated offshore passages in between. She would also suit life as a house boat and would make a spacious and stylish bankside residence.
The hull was originally laid down in steel in 2013, the current owner / builder has continued the fit out to a high standard of workmanship and she is now ready for commissioning to suit individual taste and requirements. A prospective buyer can expect the vessel to be ready to launch within 10 weeks of the completion of sale
Construction: The chined, full displacement hull design promotes strength and stability whilst the wide beam carries her interior volume through almost the full length of the hull maximising the accommodation below decks.
